The theme for the August Photo Contest is "TEXTURE".
TEXTURE:
1) The visual or tactile surface characteristics and appearance of an object

2) "something that invokes a sense of feel, emphasizing how something would feel if you were touching it, smooth, rough, soft, prickly, ripply, whatever." (thanks, Blue)


The top two finishers in each round will advance to the finals, along with the next four highest vote-getters overall.
The preliminary round will end at midnight, August 24th.

The FINAL 10 will be posted on August 25th!
