It's hayfever season and I'm dying
All the rain with the recent cold front didn't materialize. Our pollen count is off the chart with no chance of rain before Saturday. I can't stop sneezing and my head is killing me. :(

3. Sudafed, Clariten and Ibuprofin can only do so much
and it's not nearly enough. Benedryl puts me in a coma. I thought I'd try and sleep for about an hour. 3 hours later, I woke up. :wow: Only because the owners were moving some machinery in and out of the sheds here. I love living on a working farm...

Sigh...

4. Fuckin' tell me about it - I've been dying for a week
It's been under 80 degrees for the last week, but so much shit in the air I've had to live in air conditioning. It seemed really fuckin' dumb this morning when it was 60 degrees and I couldn't open the windows and had to keep the AC on.

:grr:

I fucking hate August.

6. I hear you.
But until this morning, I didn't have the windows open and I was still very miserable. Tonght will probably be worse as I can't afford to run the air when it's 60 degrees out.

:(

Need a tissue? Here...

16. Hope that's all it is
but maybe not. If it's something really treatable, you won't feel like the rest of us for at least another month.

Take care! :hi:

24. I've had bad asthma for most of the summer.
Can't get through a sentence without coughing. I'm horribly allergic to mold and hope that's what it is & that the first frost will take care of my problem. In the meantime, even the inhaler doesn't work, or allergy pills. Pauvre moi.

things are starting to settle down I think I need to be checked out. I'm sorry you've been struggling too. It's tiring... literally.

35. Thank you. Had a small crisis which put things very
suddenly in perspective. I would call it the first genuine step toward healing since this nightmare began. No pain, no gain, I guess.

27. I've escaped a lot of it
my doctor was kind enough to give me almost all of his samples of Advair. (I don't have insurance.) It's kept me breathing this summer.

 I'm sorry you've had such a rough time. No one can truly understand asthma unless you've got it.

28. Awwwww....poor thing.
I'm sorry. What have you taken? I think we used to give Darrel and Girly-poo Claritin and....dang...I forget.

Allegra!!!

Feel better or I'll have to bring chicken soup. Won't get rid of the hay fever, but it makes you feel a little better...

30. Damn.
I know the feeling, though. I don't have it right now, either and if girly-poo's gets bad...

Claritin makes an over-the-counter...I don't know how effective it is, though. And it's probably a small fortune.
