7. Lelapin, I totally feel your pain.

:hug: I have had so many bouts with demon poison ivy that I just itch thinking about it. :scared: I've gotten it while weeding in my yard and gotten it from my dogs who ran through it without me knowing it. :( This year, I've managed to keep away from it, but sweetie, I know how bad it is. :hug:

I used to get Poison Ivy that would hang around forever. One day someone told me that some people who are highly sensitive to Poison Ivy can get the same reaction by eating cashews. I stopped, it went away. Cashews were one of my favorite foods, too. Probably not relevant, but hey, I've got nothing else to do but pass on useless information. :)

I hear pistachios and mangos have the same effect on some people, though not on me. All of these plants are in the same plant family. If it's springing up in odd places, especially the insides of your elbows and wrists, or back of knees, there's a chance there's an internal source. This is based on experience, not any medical training, so don't trust me over a doctor!

Sympathies, Spawn of LizzieGrace. Been there, often. It's no fun.
