From the radar on my computer looks like some real nasty rain storms.

1. For more then ten days it's been over 100° without the heat index.
This is the first rain in what seems like months. So far so good, as it is falling gently. A bit of flash and rumble now and then, but no biggy. I saw on the Weather Channel that the water temp at Galveston is 90°. Yuk!

2. Same here in Houston.
I am over the heat, and I had to be outside last week painting a house.

Thanks for the update on storm, looks bad on the radar.

Maybe Austin and area will get some of this rain, they can use it.:hi:

4. I hope Austin gets some
I just checked radar and it looks like it's fizzling out before it gets here.

We are so dry I'm seriously thinking of getting some friends together and doing some sort of rain dance. I'm. Not. Kidding. (and I'm not being irreverent either)

5. Hot, humid, nasty, and dry
In other words, pretty typical for this time of the year, other than the last part. This is normally one of the wettest parts of the country. (And yeah, I'm not sure how it manages to be both "dry" and "humid" at the same time, but that's southeast Texas for ya!)
