Bad taste or just good fun ? Cats that look like Hitler.

One of my daughter's friends in the USA just told her about this. Her friend is another cat lover - like us.

I guess if it is bad taste then The Producers is too. I found it funny because it's so absurd.

It's not nearly as funny as when Baldrick in Blackadder Goes Forth used a dead slug to create Charlie Chaplin's moustache for the Forces Variety Show - he too looked like Hitler, Balrick that is.

5. Mocking Hitler is always a good thing

Once you learn to laugh at something, you remove it's power. If the world learns to laugh at the crazy Austrian with his comedian's moustache, bad haircut and highly dubious personal habits, the fascism he represents becomes less frightening and therefore, less attractive to those desperate enough to consider it.

That's my theory anyway.
