Your dream concert - who and where?
OK...mine is Pink Floyd (with the Gilmour, Mason, Wright AND Waters) and Radiohead doing a double bill.

Set 1 - Radiohead
Set 2 - Pink Floyd
Set 3 - Radiohead AND Pink Floyd

1. Bruce Springsteen in my backyard
REM to open.

That almost happened on the Vote for Change Tour (well, not in my backyard but not far from my house). Then they moved it to Detroit...boo hoo.

2. Killing Joke and the Ramones
As much as I like the Ramones, Killing Joke was the best band ever. Listen to their first album.

6. My dream concert is a big festival, kinda like Woostock meets
Lollapalooza meets Godzilla. :P It would go on for a week. :woohoo: The following artists/bands would be there: Pink Floyd (definitely your version with Mason/Waters/Wright/Gilmour), The Beatles, Oingo Boingo, World Party, Psychedelic Furs, Altered Images, English Beat, Human Sexual Response (they'd only have to play three songs to make me happy---(I Wanna Be) Jackie Onassis, Land of the Glass Pinecones, and What Does Sex Mean To Me?), Pretenders, REM, David Bowie (pre-mid 80s stuff only), The Monkees ('cause I was a sucker for them when I was a kid), The Ramones, the dBs, Let's Active, Devo, The Smiths, The Cure, Joy Division (although New Order would do in a pinch, even without Ian), The Police (up through Ghost in the Machine---nothing older), The Clash, Sex Pistols, Black Flag, Plasmatics, Dead Kennedys, Butthole Surfers, Buzzcocks, The Jam, XTC, Aztec Camera, Bronski Beat, Blondie, Dire Straits and..... whoever the hell else we can invite!!!! :D

We'd have to hold it at a big farm somewhere like Woodstock.... :) I'd definitely be in a happy coma after that...

10. Which Let's Active line-up?
Just curious since there were so many, but since it's a dream I guess you could mix and match, ie, Mitch on guitar, Faye on bass, Eric on drums

14. I'd go for John Lennon in my living room, followed by Neil Finn, same
place. Just strummin', singin', and hangin' out. Eric Clapton could come too, he could duet with Bonnie Raitt.

19. Me. Fabulously talented. Singing like a dream. At the Birchmere.
Making people lose their asses with laughing.

Kinda like Christine Lavin. :loveya:

I didn't mean it when I said I hope
the cable in the elevator snaps
when you step on board
and I was joking when I said I hope you crack your head
and get mangled in the downstairs revolving door
and I was kidding when I said I hope
the Number 103 bus hits and makes a pancake out of you
I'm sorry
I'm sorry
Isn't it amazing what a woman in love will do?

I have performed that song twice -- no, three times including the "rehearsal" at the coffee house -- and I swear to god, there is NOTHING like that fabulous rush . . . aahhhh, those were the days.

Pearl Jam
Neil Young (Pearl Jam comes out for the Young encore)
Closing jam session with everyone

Stage 2:
My Life with the Thrill Kill Cult (short set)
Lords of Acid (short set)
Guano Apes (short set)
Stabbing Westward
Ministry
Rob Zombie
Marilyn Manson
Nine Inch Nails

Stage 3 (main stage):
Rise Against

34. It would be more like a festival. Dream Theater, Eric Johnson, Sonny
Landreth, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Jimmie Vaughn, Johnny A., Eric Clapton, and Jeff Beck would be a good start.
