Funny Five Year Old Story |
|
Last night my daughter and I were watching the movie Zathura. Great movie by the way, I really enjoyed it. In one of the beginning scenes the oldest brother makes some flip comment to his little brother that ends with the sentiment "Biatch". During this exchange the brothers realize that a robot is slowly making its way through the house and its not so tiny after all. Anyway, to make a long story short..LOL...my daughter rolls over, takes my hand and says to me "Mommy that robots name is biatch, I like that name. Don't you?" Innocent as could be with no inkling of an idea of what it meant. My husband and I explained that no his name was not biatch and that it wasn't a very nice thing to say. We then went into the other room and just rolled. Out of the mouth of babes. I love it.

I love it when they say stuff like that! That was one of the many things about parenthood I didn't realize before I had kids ... How so much of what they say just cracks you up!

We laugh all the time with our daughter. The innocence and honesty of children is always something to marvel at.
