Poll question: Naughty poll: Who likes to bake cookies?
Edited on Thu Aug-24-06 01:51 PM by NewWaveChick1981
(Yeah, I'm still not feeling great, but I'm always up for naughtiness... Reminds me of the Friends episode where Monica was sick and had to do the Vicks VaporRub trick to get Chandler to pay attention...)

And what kind of naughty cookies do you like best? :) Chocolate chip cookies, all warm and ooey-gooey straight out of the oven, melting in your watering mouth....or sugar cookies...so sweet and irresistible, waiting for you to come and take a bite... Or ginger cookies, with their exotic sweetness and hot flavor.... :9 Or....

My favorite cookies to bake and eat are Chocolate Caramel Pecan Cookies... The sensual, rich texture and intoxicating warm liquid caramel sweetness combined with the headiness of intense gooey chocolate and delicious pecans make them....well... irresistible.. :9  And I could bake and eat them all day long....

Oh, and how many of your favorite cookies can you bake and eat? Do you like a variety of them, or do you eat the same kind each time (I call these "missionary cookies")?

1. I'm kind of a brownie cooker myself
a little less effort involved, what w/ not having to "drop" balls of dough onto the cookie sheet.

48. we would work well together in the kitchen. You can put your
chocolate chip cookie dough in a big sheet cake pan and bake it like brownies and cut into squares though. Much easier.

8. "Oh you are not that sick, you big faker."
"Arb youb tellib be you don't want sub ob thib?"

I used to ruin my appetite with my cookies. I would start baking right when I got home from work at five then have to eat 3 or 4 or five when they were still warm. Then by the tradtional dinner time of 6 or 6:30 I was too full to want to make something else for dinner. So it would be a glass of milk a couple pieces of toast and a couple more cookies - and that was dinner.

14. :::wink::: I like to bake cookies...
as much as possible. Baking cookies in the morning is my FAVORITE. And it sure is nice to have a "noon-er" baking session. Kids tend to put a crimp in daytime baking.

:P

I think a good variety of cookie baking is the spice of life. Different moods different cookies.

NWC sorry to hear you are not feeling well. Perhaps a nice batch of cookies might help you feel better. Does wonders for a headache.

25. I love to bake cookies !
I get from my friends every week to bake them another batch. The current favorite are my oatmeal-raisin cookies.

Since I love to bake i don't mind doing it. Plus, it makes me happy to make them happy.

Thankfully, I can only eat a few at a time before I start feeling sick (too much sugar makes my tummy ache) or else I might not fit into my pants.

36. well, damn, if you're gonna mention Chocolate Caramel Pecan
cookies, I'll be needing a recipe! Please!!

My husband doesn't like chocolate, so I wonder if a substitution of peanut butter chips might be OK? What do you think?

And I love all things ginger, so that'd be my other alternative. Loooove gingerbread, ginger cookies, etc... but they need to be gooey. Don't like ginger snaps.
