Poll question: Best Neil Young solo album?
There are way too many albums to choose from, so I just picked 10. If your favorite is not listed here, please reply with your choice.

1. Rust Never Sleeps.
It wasn't punk, but every punk/new waver I knew back then had a copy.

It still gets plenty of play at my dump.

3. Tonight's The Night
Edited on Thu Aug-24-06 06:03 PM by ZombyWoof
The only way to truly appreciate it is to play it late at night, with a candle or two, and your choice of intoxicating substances. Play it on vinyl if you have it.

6 other favorites:

"Freedom"
"Ragged Glory"
"Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere"
"Greendale"
"Rust Never Sleeps"
"Sleeps With Angels"

Oh, and I will add his collaboration with Pearl Jam, "Mirrorball".

10. Isn't Tonight's the Night pretty scary, especially under those conditions?

6. Fantastic album!
I played it over and over through the summer of '95. Still one of my favorites.

11. Such an unfair poll...
It's like asking Imelda Marcos what her favorite pair of shoes is...

12. Trans..
... should have been on that list because it is a very different recording and it is supposedly a favorite of Young himself. :)

13. I voted for Harvest...
...but, if it had been listed, would have gone with his "Unplugged" album.

14. Well that's fine, "Unplugged" can be your choice. You don't have to vote.
