I have NO idea what I'm doing up at this hour. It was a sort of sleepless night for me for some reason. But being sleepless led me to the Lounge and look what I found ... another amazing piece of work by billyskank! He drew me! Oh, and I'm excited about some news I got yesterday. My grandson is coming for a visit in October. We'll have him for three weeks! bounce: We haven't seen him since last June, so I'm sure he's changed quite a bit since then. :loveya:

I have always known that I was skilful with a pen. Much more recently (within the last year) I have found that I also have a good eye for form, light and shade, and the ability to capture it on paper.

Sunday afternoon my mom and her bf are coming back and in the evening I have to appear at work. Same Monday evening. So my next days are going to be eventful. 8. It is a special event

Sunday and Monday evening. As we are the birthplace of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe and his b-day is August 28th, we celebrate it every years for two evenigs and the members of the "club" are coming too.

Well, since I want to come back to an orderly apt and my friend is going to water the plants and I don't want to leave it messy for her either, I have to do some household chores. Putting away stuff, vacum, mop, washing clothes .... the typical stuff so to speak.

19. The last years

I had to play guard in the museum. This year I didn't want to work, so I just have to stand around and if a member wants to talk to me I am avaiable. Otherwise I just stay around :rofl: It is a social event.

As far as I know we won't ride in Joani's new car, but a small one. And believe me, I am as excited to come and meeting you. That is one highlight of the vacation :D

Rowing tonight and tomorrow, but other than that I don't know. My groups got the foreign film thingie on Sunday again, but it's an animated film, and I'm not really fond of those, so I just may skip it.

My place is relatively clean yet from last weekend! Can you believe that? So I may start sorting through my closets. Now isn't that exciting? I'm thinking, ever so gently, about moving, so I thought if I'd start purging now, maybe if ever I get up enough nerve to actually do it, I'll be ready. Now how's that for stupid thinking. :rofl:

And I think I'll check airfares again. Ya never know what comes up from day to day!

It's clear from reading other threads that you're getting exciting about coming here. And that's quite a list of DUer's your going to meet! Now that's truly exciting!

One is in town, but it's at a restaurant which isn't too busy of a place. The other one, I'd have about a 40 minute commute, but it's a busier more upscale lounge/club place. I'd probably make more money there, even with the commute, and have more fun, so that's what I'm hoping for.
