Have you ever been tempted to reply back to someone in GD with...

"Well, you see here sonny, back in my day...we walked 18 miles in the snow barefoot uphill both ways and we liked it..."

Because I just was. It's just soo tempting...

1. Aren't you a bit young to be saying that?
I mean, I'm going to be 40 in a few months and I try not to say those things... but I'm sure I will as I get older.

3. Oh yeah totally...
It's just that the poster went off a long spiel about children taking personal responsibility and honestly, I was expecting it to end with the whole "18 miles uphill in the snow" thing.

2. I'm always tempted to say...
I'm rubber and you're glue. Everything you say bounces off me and sticks to you.

:P

I get pissed when a person you've never seen before starts taking you to task about something. Especially if they've only been here a couple of months.

I feel like saying. Listen, asshat. Get to know online personas before you start judging.

But, that's just me.

6. I'm a hyper-literal prick when I argue, so I prefer to construct
irrefutable arguments as to why I am right and they are full of shit.

:)

7. Yeah, but when you do that and they still argue, sometimes you just want
to go "You're not only a dork, but you're acting like a geezer. :P"
