1. I Wish I Could Join You

Have never been, but I love what I've seen and heard of it.

I actually gave a short presentation several years ago on Burning Man to a group of foreigners, mostly Japanese. It was supposed to be an example of American culture that they might not hear about elsewhere, and included a bunch of photos. Their response was very amusing: complete befuddlement -- there was no absolutely framework to place in which to place something like this. One person said "They must be very rich."

In any case, I hope you don't mind a few photos. This stuff is great. Please share your experiences and pics, if you have them, when you get back.
