where charlie sheen and patrick swayze are talking to harry dean stanton when he is in the reeducation camp, always makes me kinda teary and chokes me up a little.
this is the only movie that has had that effect on me.

And no, I'm not accusing you of being one. I own the DVD myself. But it's based on the Freep mentality that the worst thing that could ever happen would be for the Russians and Cubans to invade the US.
Little did they realize that the REAL fascist takeover would be the one THEY voted for. :(
Hell, if I had the budget and the Hollywood contacts, I'd do a remake of the entire movie, only updated to reflect the reality of today instead of the Reaganite fantasy of the 80's.

Those boys father would probably be supportive of the regime if that were the case and spitting on 'them libruls' who are locked up in the drive in.
