Confession I'm an addict. Please don't judge
Since I was young, I needed a fix from the first time I tasted the sweet sweet feeling on the stuff. All my life I have done whatever I can to get some and I have even robbed people of it and down right took it from them.

The other day was my birthday. I went to my parent's house and before I left I asked for the stuff. My mother gave in and said "Here, take it all". In a 5 lb jug of Country Crock, there they were. Gumballs. Blue, Red, Orange, Purple, Yellow and more, at least 100 gumballs. My mouth frothed, She told me to take them all. I can't stop. I can't fucking stop!

1. I am also an addict...
but to Starkist Fruit Gems, not gumballs. Those things are heavenly, but I could quit whenever I want. I just don't want to.

7. I'm not sure what "olefactory system" is.
Most of my friends are drunks and all of them can't tolerate sweets. My sister made me a birthday cake last year. Looking at it made me ill.

8. Get some help
I did a few years ago. And I took a lot of time off of booze and got better. Even a few months could do you well.

3. We all have our weaknesses
If I were to list mine I'd be sitting here typing for a week.

It's best you get it out into the open. It's the first step in dealing with it. You really should take the next step and join a gumball support group. One cud at a time, so to speak...

I have a dim idea of what it must be like to be addicted!

And I would never judge you, of all people!

Enjoy!

6. Geez, you and my mom BOTH.
She can't stop either. We're totally codependent enablers, too--we always buy her boxes for birthday, Christmas, mother's day....
