1. No more votes? What happened, did Katherine Harris intervene?

5. I've been fortunate enough to see all the great bands,(with the
exception of the beatles, hendrix and the doors) in concert. But the most magical experience was when I got to see Joni in concert, at an amphitheater in Kansas City. She was spine tingling! She held the audience in the palm of her hand. When she sang Woodstock, she moved away from the microphone, and the crowd was so quiet, you could have heard a pin drop. You could hear her clearly, without the mike!

3. Toss-up between Ladies and Hejira.
As a forever Joni fan, I thought those two albums represented her best work. Is there a better lyricist out there? NO!

7. Court and Spark
Although I could tie it with "Blue".

Got to see Joni Mitchell in a triple-billed concert with Bob Dylan and Van Morrison back in 1998. They took turns in the order they played, so they all had equal billing. Great show!

8. Imagine that happening today. Possible, but the tickets would be $800

9. It was about $70 then
Which along with Pink Floyd, is the most I have ever paid for a concert. I can't afford live music anymore unless it's a small club or bar.

11. I saw her for $8.50 in 1980, at the Starlight Amphitheater in K.C.
Best show I have ever seen.

12. I had to go with Blue.
But Joni Mitchell's work tremendous on many other albums.

When I used to play in clubs, I covered a lot of her songs. They were always very moving to sing.

Here's the thing though: After I married happily and was at peace in my love life, I never could really sing them any more.
