It's a 'Mad World'
Gary Jules has my current psyche down

http://www.i-am-bored.com/bored_link.cfm?link_id=5886

All around me are familiar faces
Worn out places, worn out faces
Bright and early for the daily races
Going nowhere, going nowhere
Their tears are filling up their glasses
No expression, no expression
Hide my head I wanna drown my sorrow
No tomorrow, no tomorrow

And I find it kind of funny
I find it kind of sad
The dreams in which I'm dying
Are the best I've ever had
I find it hard to tell you
I find it hard to take
When people run in circles
It's a very very, mad world, mad world

Children waiting for the day they feel good
Happy Birthday, Happy Birthday
And I feel the way that every child should
Sit and listen, sit and listen
Went to school and I was very nervous
No one knew me, no one knew me
Hello teacher tell me what's my lesson
Look right through me, look right through me

And I find it kind of funny
I find it kind of sad
The dreams in which I'm dying
Are the best I've ever had
I find it hard to tell you
I find it hard to take
When people run in circles
It's a very very, mad world, mad world
Enlarging your world, mad world

1. Good video
never saw it before...I heard this song for the first time last year, and I was surprised that Tears for Fears did the original, I was never a TFF guy, but this song was excellent...

2. It has a beautiful haunting quality.
KFOG plays it many mornings. Few musical pieces have such a deep affect - this one does.

3. I heard this
on an episode of Smallville season II...at first I thought it was REM, and I spent quite some time looking through REM cds trying to find it. I was 100% certain it was Michael Stipe singing, but I was way off...a friend of mine told me to google the damn lyrics, and I found it...:)

This is one of those songs, that gets to me at an emotional level, and with the video, it was very...powerful...with stronger imaging, the song could probably bring crowds of people to tears...
