My phone company constantly calls to get us to buy into these packages. Sometimes when they call, they make it seem like a call about your phone service, and get you hooked into conversation. Last week I told them that I don't need call waiting, caller ID, etc. and the person got really persistent, and I went into a tirade that in Bush America, I can't afford it, that got her right off the phone.
This week it came in letter phone. They offered a dish network plan through the phone company. Since it would be bundled services, they would take $5.00 discount off of the dish network bill. the basic plan, through the phone company is $25.00 a month. If I went directly to Dish Network on my own it's $20.00. Who are they kidding? Should I call them? And go off? This is stupid, I know. But I really want to tell them off now. I'm on dial up, should I dare?
We are stuck with this phone company, monopolies!

Compose a letter; and as you compose, little by little, pick away the obsenities so you ultimately have a letter which conveys your extreme displeasure in a rational tone. It's more likely to be taken seriously.
