Ever wonder what happened to the ending of peoples' stories on DU? I do! Most of them I catch, but others I wonder about. There are so many unfinished stories just floating around my little brain right now.

How is Girlincontempt's father? Will the chihuahua get a new home? Did that biopsy turn out alright?

Well, I'll start: My niece finally thanked me for her birthday gift. Actually, I called her a 5th time. She just seemed really, super busy. So, at least that one had a resolution.

but you shouldn't have had to call a 5th time. (and trust me, I know about this issue with non-acknowledgment of gifts, etc)

I haven't posted anything of real consequence recently.

2. Yeah, I know

I was relieved when she answered the phone, that last time, and not her mother. I'm going to be torn when Christmas time rolls around. If I do send any items to my sister's family, it will definitely be sent registered return receipt mail. And, even though I could take the high road and continue sending my niece money, I've decided not to.

6. You didn't ask, but it's an update. My father just had another appt.

with his oncologist and things are looking GREAT! He won't need radiation so far and it still appears, after an MRI, that they got it all...without losing his kidney function. :D :hi:

11. I've been a little lax with the updates, but I didn't want to hog

DU space. His doctor is amazed with his recovery. I worry a bit that he's pushing it in terms of getting a surgical hernia...but he blows me away. Thanks KC2! :hug:

...were you on here last night? A couple of us were DU space hogs...but I've never noticed that about you. Besides, the way I see it, they can always use the "hide thread" feature if they want! :)
