I swear I didn't chuckle when I was younger |
|
Now I emit this sound that's a mix between Bugs Bunny and Ming the Merciless. While such a combination might be an interesting concept, it isn't exactly the sort of thing you want to hear coming out of your buccal cavity, or throat, or wherever in hell chuckles come from. Also, belly laughs are a lot more healthy.
Any other chucklers here? Confess!

1. I'm more of a guffaw-er or chortler myself. |

2. Guffawing is good, aerobically speaking I mean |
|
I'm not sure I actually know what chortling is, but it sounds like it would be healthy. Good for you, all the way around!:D

Just full belly laughs-- which are quite embarrassing, really. I wish I could just chuckle, though.

6. I think it's a matter of circumstances mostly. The chuckles come mainly |
|
when I'm lying down and the small cat is doing cute things in the vicinity, mainly on my chest. Kind of tough to let out with the full out laugh under the circumstances. As I say above, though, I believe that belly laughs are much healthier-- so don't be embarrassed, exult in them!:D

7. I think it's a sign of maturity |

The more you see the world for what it really is, the more you realize that a chuckle is the most appropriate response to much of it...

chuckle. It makes me think that the person isn't planning to laugh but it just takes over in a muted form. I don't do it but it looks like it is a good feeling.
