Even though I was maybe 7 or 8 years old when I first saw her in The Avengers, I knew IMMEDIATELY that I was incurably heterosexual!

The runner-up TV persona that confirmed my sexuality was Carolyn Jones as Morticia Addams.

Because my childhood friend who came out as a lesbian in her 20s cites Emma as her first crush as well--and the reason she knew she was gay.

I just wanted to BE Emma Peel! When I was 10 I waffled between being her or being Honey West. Honey didn't answer to a guy, and she had a pet ocelet.
