I asked her how she would feel if one (or both) of her six yr old twin boys would come home ten years from now with a cigarette in his hand

I saved a bunch of money when I quit, multiplied by 2 should be quite a savings. :toast:

I know the health benefits were the greatest outcome of quitting but the money thing was more noticeable at first. It is what kept me motivated.

Having kids in the house is such a good reason to quit. I wish my daughter and her husband would - they have two small kids and it bothers me so much to think of them smoking in the house and the car. I grew up like that - both my parents smoked - but we didn't think much about it then. I'm so much more aware of it now.

I wish them luck - it's hard but not impossible and it's always easier when you do it together.
