Anyone here doing a New Years Resolution? |
|
I don't usually do this because it just always seemed silly to me. I am going to this year, however. The last few years haven't been kind to me on any level, of course i'm mostly to blame and i realize that.
So i vow to reclaim my body from the evil forces of apathy and atrophy!
i'm not starting new years though, i'm joining a gym down the road and i'll hit it as much as i can now that i don't have a physically demanding job (i don't have a job at all actually  )
a secondary resolution will be to get my musical skills back up to their former level after the past 2 years of not really doing much with it due to my job.
so let's hear it people!!!
I think i might do a weekly or bi-weekly resolution post to keep us all honest.
i'd like to see many of us quit smoking!

2. To try and be happier. |
|
Not let my depression get the better of me.
To start an exercise plan...and STICK with it (this will help with my depression)
To be as involved as I possibly can in getting that miscreant out of the White House next November.

stalking and killing people I meet on message boards!
Ok, that's just a joke but I do resolve to exersize every day. And I made a resolution several months ago not to shop at wallmart, so I will keep doing that.
That is a hard one, as it is the main store in our small town.

4. I make them every year and keep 90+% of them. |
|
Being a driven, goals-oriented person.
I'm going to be so busy politically in '04, I'm not going to commit to large projects like I did this year.
I have only one so far, and it's modest: I'm going to re-learn the Spanish as I spoke as a child and have forgotten most of it through lack of use.

"Don't do anything stupid" (of course, I break my resolution every year, but I still have hope....)

i'm hoping to finally put together a band this year after trying to make it work with other people's ideas..

13. I resolve to make everyone bend to my will |

If only everyone always did what I wanted them to, this world would be a much better place. So I've really got to work on that.
