Why the frick do people always stare at me when I go out?

I don't understand, whenever I go out shopping it seems like every time I turn around someone is staring at me. :wtf:

Is it because I'm tall? The clothes I wear? Today I have on khaki capris and a green tank. :shrug:

27. A cousin of mine who is 6' 6" lived in Japan for a while.

He had to have a bed made especially for him because nothing was available that fit him otherwise...and then had great difficulty finding a place to live that accommodated him and his bed.

I have only been to Narita Airport in Japan. Got stared at lots in China, but it also happens to me in Europe.

Even so, I love being tall. :D

and the oldest one is already 4 feet tall. The other two, including the girl, are not far behind.

When I was a kid, I was so tall that I carried my birth certificate with me every time I rode the bus or went to the movies. To prove that I was the age that I was.

Once, getting onto the bus, the driver told me that the birth certificate had to be someone else's. My mother was with me at the time, and gave the driver a big piece of her mind.

And it's not entirely because of my looks, which are not that good, and until recently being unique in sartorial taste just shows how little people really feel about individuality; it's the lemming philosophy - do as others do and individuals are bad. (thanks to all in the past who've said otherwise.)

In public, I tend to 'tune out' because I can't stand any fear or rejection. I tune out to only the reason I'm out there.

Clothes or ambient attitude at the time. I look zoned out and scared. People pick up on this and laugh their asses off.

Damn straight it hurts.
