The next person who reminds me my GF is leaving in a week gets slapped out

Seriously. She seems to know EVERYONE so we can't go anywhere without her bumping into someone she knows and then having the whole, "I'm leaving next weekend for school," conversation - as I skulk in the background trying to think happy thoughts.
This whole thing is really draining. I worry if the long distance thing will work. Just how HARD it will be to see her go and what if she meets another guy AAHHH!!!
I never thought it'd be this freakin' hard.
Oh, and yes.. you WILL be hearing me piss and moan about it for the next little while.

1. You'll be okay

And you'll adjust to the separation. It sucks at first but consider how thrilled you'll be to see her at christmas break! Maybe take a weekend and go visit her. I spent the first year away from my husband, he was in Italy for a year. I remember being just as worried as you were, about the whole other girl (in your case guy or maybe girl =p ) thing.

Let that go and don't worry about it.. you can't control it so there isn't any reason to make yourself sick over it. It's a hard lesson to learn but a worthy one.
