Since their formation in 1979, Bad Brains have been nothing short of legends—their debut single "Pay to Cum" is considered the first hardcore record ever, their first LP is regularly called "The best Hardcore/punk record of all time" but more than any of that, their live show is unquestionably the most intense, frantic, and awe-inspiring spectacle in music. By taking their electrifying punk songs and lighting them up with a frenzy and desperation that feels like the world will end the second they´re done, Bad Brains created an unmatchable event with every one of their concerts, a perfect sliver of the speed, fury, and recklessness that defines punk. In 1982, months before the release of their landmark "Rock For Light" LP, the Bad Brains played a weekend of shows in New York City at CBGBs. Arguably the pinnacle of their career, the band was eager, vicious, unstoppable; and every song hits like a brick in the face. For the first time ever, the three concerts have been edited into one epic DVD, a snarling, heart-stopping concert that clearly announces their status as best live punk band of all time.
