Videogamers: Serious question...
Do you ever cheat when playing a video game?

(I mean use one of those cheat videogame disks.)

I have one I use for my older Playstation 1 games, and it only works with one game I have, "Spyro: Ripto's Rage."

2. I don't know what you mean by "cheat videogame disks".
But I enjoy the vintage 'graphic adventure' point-n-click games,
and I generally use walk-throughs for those. That's kinda like cheating.

5. Cheat disks...
Are disks that are loaded into the game system, then the game disk, in many cases they give the character unlimited lives, invulnerabilty, etc.

3. no
and yes...let me explain...when I first get a game, I beat it on my own, no help, no books, nothing...after I master the game...I do use cheat codes, because sometiems, I just want to run around with unlimited ammo, and life and just rain chaos upon the characters in the game.

I usually do this in GTA, and Medal of Honor games...:)

4. Nope
There's all kinds of patches to download — unlimited ammo, more guns, etc. I don't see the point. You beat the game on its own terms or what have you done?

6. I beat the game without the cheat disk too, at first.
But later, I use the cheat disks to make it easier and less boring.

I've heard there are many cheat disks out there, for Gamecube, PS2, etc.

All I have is the PS1 cheat disk.
And on only one of my PS1 games it works. ("Spyro: Ripto's Rage.")

15. Plus, being invincible with unlimited ammo is hilarious
in first-person shooters.

8. This is why I prefer PC games over consoles:
Of course, the greater availability of cheats is pretty inconsequential (most standalone games these days are either easy enough to not need cheats), but the widespread practice of modding is something the console world can't hold a candle to.

12. Hold "shift" when clicking for more cards
It will only spit out one at a time if you do this instead of three.

11. Occassionally, depending on the cheat in question.
I don't use cheats for the purpose of advancing in the game. I do that on my own - that's the point of the game. However, if I'm just messing around or if I've already completed the game and just want to get past some annoying part, I'll use a cheat.

Grand Theft Auto is the only game I've ever consistently used a cheat. Getting all of the weapons and going on a mayhem spree is a lot of fun. :-)
