XP always needing repairs and optimizing-everyone will benefit from your answer-I'm thinking about using a program called PitStop, anyone know anything about it?
:argh:
What do you think is the most effective software you've tried for XP?

1. To be honest, the best thing I've found for Windows is a piece of hardware
A hammer.

But, generally, if I need Windows help and don't want to break the computer, I go to one of my PC geek friends who'll fix it for me.

I just thought someone might have found some software that does a few things well and helps a bit.

I don't know anyone who works on computers here where I live, unfortunately.

It seemed to work...his computer had less problems than your average Windows machine.
