Disease names that sound like pretty names for girls
(inspired by two threads in GD)

Schizophrenia and Chlamydia, I think, would make lovely girls' names, if no one knew what they meant.

Are there other examples?

9. True story..
Years ago when I was still living with my parents a local town paper ran a story about a woman who had 3 daughters, all named after diseases: Leukemia, Anemia and Glaucoma. It was one of those weird stories from around the world so I do not remember where the woman was from. But she thought the names were beautiful. These girls are adults now so I wonder if they changed their names (and killed Mom)

10. Ginger Vytis.
Ginger Vytis.

When working at a Cancer Treatment center some time back, we'd write fake names in the sign-in book to throw the nurses off. One particularly obtuse nurse called the name again and again whilst patients and staff were laughing thier butts off.
