She wasn't feeling well today and needs her sleep. If I tell her, she'll come downstairs and start yelling at the television (we do a few things kind of gender-backward around here).

Does your husband shout at the TV, as if they could hear him, as Mrs R does? I've never understood that.

(which is all I can take of him) before shutting the tube off.

Any longer than twelve seconds and I'd be shooting the TV, Elvis style, except that I don't have any guns.
