CA teachers- question for you. |
|
I am already a teacher. I have a Multiple Sub and have been teaching K, 2-3, or 3 for a while. When I first started, I did teach one semester of 7th English. I'm looking to teach English at the HS level. From my understanding, my undergrad in Journalism and my MA in Writing will allow me to be NCLB compliant if I pass the CSET in English. Is this true? Also, how did you find the CSET? Was it extremely difficult? All the materials I can find on the English test doesn't seem to be too terribly difficult.
Thanks!

3. My Brother just happens to teach English in the L.A. Unified SD |
|
From what he's told me...you've got a bit of "wait" if you want to "teach English in High School in L.A.". Sadly, it gets even more difficult outside of L.A. Unified.
