11. This is the job I have wanted since I was a teenager

It was my motivation for attending college. It was why I toiled in dozens of credit hours of English Lit classes. It's one of the reasons why I write. So being offered the spot was a literal dream come true. I am still stunned really.

I envy you. I wanted to major in English and teach. Never made it though, so I have to content myself with correcting my kids' grammar (which I do often and well. They only Think they hate it).

One of my kids is a high school senior and that's what he's going to do when he starts college next year. Not major in English, but he wants to teach.

Good luck...I hope everything goes exactly how you want it to and that your classes are all filled with bright, eager students with a love of language and a desire to learn.
