OK, I have posted this before but lost the thread. |

During the past spring and summer months, I have been besieged with ants and roaches. This year I have not seen a single ant and the few roaches I have seen have been dead. Usually during spring and summer, I have had to carry around a can of Raid, but this year I have not had to use it even once. And where I take my dogs for a walk in a back field behind my house, there were numerous fire ant mounds and I had to be careful where I walked, but I have not seen any at all this year. Do you think the bugs know something we don't and are aware of global warming and are jumping ship? Has anyone else noticed this?

1. This has been, for us, the most ant-infested summer |
|
of all time! They've probably just moved from your place to mine :P

2. Well, better your place than mine. I'll make sure they |

visit you next year also. Seriously, I have not seen one ant this year. I'm in North Georgia and usually I am overrun with those pesky critters, but have not seen even one this year. It is really strange.

Over here, my "good luck bird," the cardinal, has been conspicuously absent.
