Well, my son is a licensed driver w/ an insured and registered automobile

He just picked up his car. He's on his way to go pick up his girlfriend.

It looks like a pretty solid car. I hope he takes good care of it and that he doesn't let other drivers rattle him (he's pretty new behind the wheel.) I told him, no matter what anyone else does to him, let it roll off. It's not worth a ticket or an accident or your life.

My daughter (Lelapin) is finally getting her license in a couple weeks. She's 19 1/2. When she had the time, I didn't have the money. She's a pretty good driver but she sometimes has "blonde" moments. I can say this because she *is* blonde and gets a little ditzy sometimes.

3. Tim will be 19 in October

so he waited too.

He bought the car w/ his own money (he received a handsome settlement from his dad's life insurance earlier this summer--dad died 2+ years ago)

I hope she can get one sometime in the next 6 months. It won't be anything fancy, but it will be hers.
