This 3 am start is messing with my head!
I've been starting work at 3am the last couple of weeks...a bit of an adjustment to say the least. I also have an evening job, so if I'm working at night, I need to take a nap. If I'm not working nights, I try to stay up until my early bedtime.

I had an accidental nap yesterday. I woke up at 7 in a PANIC. I thought, "OMG, I'm going to be
4+ hours late for work!" I was rushing around getting ready to go, and was about to call in when I realized that it was 7pm and not 7am. Needless to say, I was relieved, but boy, is my internal clock messed up.

1. HAHAHAHA. That's sooo funny. I used to do that all the time...
...when I was in "A" School (Navy-speak for the school where they teach you what your job is). I'd get back from class, take a nap, wake up at 7:00-7:30pm, and in a panic think I was
late for muster and class. I'd rush downstairs, getting dressed while I was sprinting down the stairs. It was funny...

7. It's weird being done for the day at 11 am
The panic was not good. I'm glad I'm not the only one do do this kind of thing.

2. How much longer do you have to do this for?
If I remember, originally it was only meant to be one week.

5. Now be nice
I'll admit, the getting up sucks, but shoe shopping in the afternoon is a good thing. I bought two pairs today! (I needed them for work, and they were on sale.)

6. I did that for almost a year.
We worked 8 to 12 hour shifts that started anywhere from 2PM to 4PM spending on the work load. (First shift always started at 6AM, our shift floated with their quit time.) I'm still screwed up. If I don't get to sleep by 10, I'm apt to stay awake all night!
