What are you drinking?
I started out with some BV Coastal Estates 2003 Merlot, followed by some other Merlot, which was a 2002 California something.

Now I'm onto Coronas. Yes, I know many of you hate them, but I actually do like them. I also drink "real beer" as well though.

6. Blech.
Only because vodka seems to have some sort of personal grudge against me. Personally, I like vodka. Vodka and me could be great buddies, but vodka is a vengeful bitch towards me.

12. You must be drinking the wrong vodka
:)

I was not in a martini mood tonight, and I'm out of beer, and I didn't feel like mixing anything elaborate, so that's what I'm stuck with :(

15. Only if you consider everything from Skyy to Grey Goose...
the wrong vodka. It just doesn't seem to like me. It's not like I'm drinking cheap vodka. It's the only liquor that gives me a hangover. Rum, whiskey and tequila get along just fine with me.

I recommend Stoli Blueberry on the rocks...makes a fantabulous chocolate martini too if you're into sweeter drinks.

The first drink is the worst...especially if you're on your emergency stock...but it's all good after that. I can't tell you how many times I've polished off my cooking wine.....alcohol adverntures...WHEEEEEEEEEEEE!

16. split the difference, and see if you can get them to go for a malbec....
It's another bordeaux sibling, and has a lot of the same mellowness of a merlot, but also resembles cab with its tannins and complexity. The malbecs from South America are plentiful, but try to find one from California. Sonoma and Napa are both producing some stellar malbecs these days. Yum.
