I can just totally see that on the box, "marital aids... to help with your heterosexual, monogamous marriage", because God knows the only people that ever use dildos are married heterosexuals, lol. Sorry if you thought it was you I was laughing at...my snark was aimed at the p.r.

I was being funny by taking the terminology back to how it would have been billed back then. Marital Aid is probably the dumbest ass name for a vibrator I have ever heard. If we want a marital aid we'll invite my wife's girlfriend over :)
Snark away, I'll make more :)

Pretty much. Tho a priest friend pointed out that, technically, I wouldn't meet the Catholic Church's definition of celibate. That's right--it could be worse.

It takes strength to go the distance with planned celibacy. Kudos! (and just because you aren't "priest celibate" doesn't mean that it don't count).
I think including actual definitions of celibacy would be the straw that broke the moderators back and get this locked. So feel free to elaborate.
Fortunately for me I have no such compulsions. But I am married to the most beautiful woman in the world and she would kill me if I ever talked of celibacy (not that I would mind you) - that or hold me to it :) which would be WAAAAAAY worse than death!

The "Rudy's" line is from the SD song "Black Cow," off of the album Aja. "Deacon Blues" and "Aja" are songs from that album as well.
