telephone provider that isn't my own?
Someone named HOFFMAN (that's the only caller ID info I got... no first name) has made three calls to our home telephone line. We have MCI.
I tried to dial this number back, but got NO RING on the line and NO LISTING on www.switchboard.com .
When I called the Operator to be put through to REPAIR service, she told me the telephone number 503-257-2645 was not one of their assigned numbers. I asked her to give me 800 contact numbers for other telephone providers in Oregon, but she didn't have them.
By the way, she was talking to me from the Phillipines (GREAT NEWS! More jobs outsourced!).
(The name HOFFMAN shows up again on my Caller ID this time with a different number -- 503-546-9740. Again, when I dial it, there is NO RING.)
This is maddening.
Can you help me? I'd just like to get through to the right company's repair service to tell them of my difficulties. You might also call those numbers and let me know if you get a ring. If someone answers, perhaps you can tell them that another person in Oregon is trying to reach them and they should report this problem to their company's repair service.
Thanks for your help!
In peace,

1. If you call the number, please report back here what the status is. |
