It's in produce departments this time of year. My mom always grew her own for pickle making. The aroma is a lovely trip down memory lane now. Good luck with those pickles. What kind are you making? :hi:

Holy cow, that seems like a lot. Maybe I'll just substitute dill seed instead. I"m new to canning, so I'm just looking up basic dill pickle recipes. Thanks for the help! :hi:

It must be a head of dill. Really, it doesn't take up much room. Gawd, I miss my grandmother's dills... her, too, for that matter. (Dont' forget the garlic.)

pretty easily available at the grocery store -- when you see it -- it won't look quite so daunting.
however the dill seed would still be easier.
