It's flashcards or fail. But my grades for my first two courses are A and A+. Somehow I manage (she said modestly)!

3. The "reasonable person" standard in determining negligence.
Destruction of power of acceptance in the bargain relationship
Mutual mistake as grounds for rescission of a real-estate contract in Vermont
Whether jerking someone's arm during a purse-snatching constitutes a sufficient level of force to bump the charges from theft from person to robbery.

Oddly enough...I'm content with this stuff.

12. Beowulf
which is fine, except I've read it four times already.

Lais. I've never read this, and don't know anything about it.

Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, which I've also read before.

Some various poetry and stuff like that.

13. Yes, that's the class I remember.
Canterbury Tales too & I don't know Lais. Reading Beowulf once was certainly enough for a single lifetime! You have my sympathy

16. Mine for that class was a young, handsome professor.
The effect was ruined however because whenever he spoke, bubbles of spittle gathered at the corners of his mouth. It was v. yukky to watch.

19. Yeah, the morning thing is a pain.
I'm going to have to go to bed at nine o'clock to manage the 5:30 wakeup call.

And for reasons you are well aware of, I'm having a couple of somewhat down days. Hope you are doing well...

24. Nothing.... that is, I've been at home with my kids
for a long time. I have a degree in something useless - psych/soc - so I'm attending a tech school for medical office assisting. In our city, that's about the only job out there unless you like working with fast food.
