The wife of a married couple we (Mrs. DTW & I) know.... |
|
....just called me a few minutes ago and said she and her husband got into a big fight after a party we were all at Saturday night because he thought her and I were being a little too friendly to each other. I can only remember her and I speaking alone once or twice and her husband and my wife even danced together one time. I can't wait to see the guy face to face, not to fight but to ask him why he's such a jealous dumb-ass, well then there may be a fight, but what a dipshit.

2. He'd probably take it out on her |
|
The more I think about it he probably doesn't know she told me and he might do something to her for telling me and for making him look like an idiot. I changed my mind. I'm not going to say anything, just avoid them as they're more acquaintances than friends.

3. This kind of happened to me once. |

A good aquaintence of mine invited me to the reception/dance after their wedding. Many of my friends showed up to the wedding, including one of my friends (male) who was engaged to this nice girl (usually my friends pick really bad women, so I'm happy when they get soeone who's good for them). Anyways, my friend does not dance, and she looked a little bored, so I asked her to dance. We danced a crazy polka to Home for A Rest, and then did a swing dance to Crab in a Bucket. She was laughing out loud, she was having so much fun. My friend was really jealous (he didnt act like it at the time, but did afterwards) and it pretty much ruined our friendship. I had no interest in her whatsoever, and I was just happy that my friend had picked such a great girl that I didn't hate. The idiot knew she loved to dance, but kept acting like he was too cool to dance.
Jealously is ridiculous and counter-productive. I've heard recently they broke off their engagement, and a mutual friend said it was because he was so possesive. He was never like that before...I don't know what the hell happened to him.

6. Yeah...this guy was all honky-dory too |
|
Even asking my wife and I why we were leaving the party so early that evening and hoping to see us again soon. From what his wife told me today he was yelling things at her when they got home like, "Why didn't you leave when he did and go to his house and fuck him like you wanted to!" I really didn't want for her to volunteer too much information and I don't want to get involved into her and her husband's issues. She did seem like she was being straight up and honest though as far as letting me and my wife know his true colors and not to get offended if we see them again and she's not as talkative as she was before.

thats nutty. I've never been jealous or possesive so I don't understand this kind of behaviour. Its so anti-seductive...your basically just shooting yourself in the foot.
Although, did you detect any weird behaviour on her part. The fact that she was telling you all that kind of sounds odd to me. Whos knows..maybe she is actually interested in you, and is trying to start a rift between you and the guy. She may just want to gauge your reaction. It sounds plausible.

9. That's always a possibilty...her wanting to start shit |
|
Plus I'm only getting one side of the story. It's not unusual for female friends of ours to call me or call me first as I'm easier to reach during the day than my wife, but it is strange for someone to call and tell me things like that. Even if it's not her fault if everything she said was true, it's best just to avoid the both of them in my opinion. Not even say anything to him as I was first planning to.

4. Host a swinger's party. Then there won't be that problem. |
|
(OK, there will be that problem, but it won't be *your* problem that a jealous ass decided to go to a swinger's party.)
