Unfortunately, my problems relate to $300k in invoices that I can't get paid because two VPs are fighting over which budgets they come out of. I have vendors getting ready to put credit holds on us, and we need to be able to place more orders with them.
I'm not allowed to smack VPs upside the head. x(

I used to have a boss that would routinely mess things up with customer requests then three days later be like, "um...yeah, I promised this person I would order this, but I forgot. I had originally told them it would be here today, but I had to tell them you forgot to order it, so order it now, then call them up and tell them when it will be in with an apology."
I always just wanted to scream, "you're the owner. Your job is apparently to be a dick and look at porn on my computer when I'm not around, then try to throw out my stuffed sheep. We have a freaking special order system for a reason. That reason being so that I can look at the list and know my special orders. You're not a buyer, stop pretending to be one and then forgetting that you pretended to be one."
My current rant though is that according to someone in GD, I'm a bad liberal because I go boating. :wtf:

22. Duh, the boat gets towed by an SUV (almost never though) |
|
and the boats use gas. It doesn't matter if I enjoy it, a good liberal would get rid of their boats for the sake of saving gas or something. Of course, this still ignores the fact that there would just be someone else using the boats if sold.
Honestly, if I'm going to have a hobby that requires the use of fossil fuels, I should just vote Republican. Man, imagine if I also posted that I have an ATV.

that recreational vehicles are conspicuous, unnecessary consumption I would never attack someone for it. People who insist on living in suburban sprawl waste more on any given day. Those of us who live in cities produce mass amounts of environmental waste that gets shipped to other places. Very few people are clean enough to point fingers.
If we start demanding some level of purity to be a liberal then there are maybe 1000 liberals left in the US. Damn.

28. Yeah, I hate SUVs too. |
|
I drive a Jeep only because it was a corporate car that my stepdad gave me after my mercury sable decided to die for the billionth time. And in terms of having Jeeps in the family, my stepdad's cabin is down a few miles of windy dirt road and he does tow a boat with it. So those are fairly understandable reasons to have a Jeep. Soccer mom with the hummer that drives back and forth to the supermarket and crap. Not so much.
But yeah, I find demanding a bizarre level of purity to be a liberal absurd and it certainly doesn't earn us any votes.
