Stuff Happens...
A friend asked me to post this. He's standing in the (short) line for free tickets for tonight's performance of "Stuff Happens" in Central Park, and said that there are plenty of tickets left. Free, free, free!!!

From the Public Theater website:

"A provocative and thoughtful play about how and why we went to war in Iraq, Stuff Happens brings to the stage an ongoing story of great national and international importance, with characters and dialogue seemingly ripped from today’s headlines. Inspired by actual events, both public and private, that have been authenticated from multiple sources, Stuff Happens is a powerful history play that brilliantly transforms 'real life' into profound drama."

Go get 'em, New Yorkers!

2. Kick for free tickets to an award winning play in NYC tonight only!
There are still tickets available at this time at the Public at 425 Lafayette, and there will almost certainly be standby tickets at the Delacorte Theater this eve. Get there before 7pm; early is better. Curtain at 8pm.

If you haven't seen this and you're in NYC, you should try to get in. It's a fabulous play about the run up to the Iraq war. Great entertainment, great theater.
