3 "work-is-almost-over" questions
1)Last person you spoke to on the phone? A hotel, to confirm my reservation date.

2)So...crossword puzzles or Sudoku? I'm addicted to Sudoku. I might need a 12 step program soon.

3)Any plans for tonight? Some errands, the library and then hopefully Netflix sent the third season of Arrested Development.

1. Some disturbingly excited person calling to find out if we got in the "Cruise baby" Vanity Fair issue yet. I took great joy in telling her no.

2. If I had to pick, I'd say Sudoku.

3. I've got a bunch of stuff on the DVR to watch. A bunch of season 3 Reno 911 episodes and there's a new episode of Blade on tonight. So I'll be loafing hardcore.

1. a telemarketer

2. crossword puzzles - I prefer the 'variety puzzle' magazines most of all

3. a meeting, and a bit of grocery shopping; I'm also taping this documentary, and will hopefully get to it tonight as well:

Falling Man

The story behind the Falling Man, one of the jumpers from the tragedy of 9/11. The image of the Falling Man is one of the most unforgettable and most heavily censored images. http://www.cbc.ca/passionateeyemonday/fallingman/

There are some very interesting 9/11 documentaries on CBC this week.

17. That sounds interesting and ..... tough
Looking at the link you posted, I was especially taken by this quote of the photographer - "I didn't capture this person's death. I captured part of his life. This is what he decided to do and I think I preserved that," Drew later told The Digital Journalist.

I understand why the photos of jumpers were not circulated widely but on the other hand, he has a point. This was real. It happened. Like so many awful things, you shouldn't forget that it happened.

14. Ok:
1. The ex boy

2. Crosswords. hooray for word power!

3. Nope, not really. I might do my nails in order to avoid exercising, then I might actually excercise, knit for a while, read for a while, watch the Project Runway, read some more, go to bed. Right now I'm watching Maury until the news is on and avoiding doing all of the above. Those darn baby-wantin' teens--when will they learn? Also, if you want to tell your lover or family that you're a prostitute, now's the time to call the show! :eyes:
