Have you ever wondered what hotels do

with all those 1/2 rolls of toilet paper after you check-out of your room?
They always change 'em to new rolls before the next person checks in.

3. Think of all the wasted trees if they just toss 'em out!

I hope that's where they go. It takes a long time to grow a tree big enough to harvest.

7. I agree.
I would hate to see waste on such a grand scale. But come to think of it, when I was doing alot of business travel, there were times when it wasn't a new roll. They just folded the first sheet into a triangle and called it done. :hi:

10. That makes more sense. I've seen that too but far to rarely.

Tonight I have two new rolls still wearing their overwrap of protective parer but I was short one pillowcase. x( That was fixed very easily by a call to the desk.

Then I went for a swim in a guitar shaped pool.

I know bedbugs are real but I've never fed any of 'em.

31. I'd better find some way to pay for all of my gallivanting around.

I can tell you which hotels charge for little things like ~ having a refrigerator in the room.
Which ones provide hairdryers or irons.
Where you can find the softest sheets and extra fluffy pillows.
Did you know some hotels even hit you with a service charge when you use an 800 number phone card? :grr:

29. nope never wondered about that
but what I usually do wonder is rooted from the Insomniac show with Dave Atell. I remember one episode where he traveled around with a guy who cleans up, well murder/homicide/suicide environments, after the police/coroner have done their task. Three of the places they went to were hotel rooms....and after they were done, you couldn't tell anything happened there...so the question I usually have is...what the hell has my hotel room walls witnessed!....:)

32. I don't wonder about things like that cause I'd probably have nightmares.

Wayyyy back when I was 19 I rented a house after the home-owner's wife went nuts and murdered her husband. No one had been in to clean the blood off the walls or floor. I swear his ghost kept me company for a while after I moved out a year later.
