Hey - what was that movie that CBS affiliates refused to show a year ago? |
|
Or so? I think it was CBS. National wanted to show some controversial movie, but boatloads of local affiliates refused to show it.
I'm thinking we need to include, in our letters to our local affiliates of ABC, a reminder of the precedent set last year.

Not a movie, I guess. But I was thinking there was a controversial movie...
but then, I'm also getting old, and the memory fails.
Thanks!

6. Closer than you think - they have "d", "a", and "i" in common spots, |
|
and both are important Biblical Old Testament people.
Daniel was rightly chopsen for the TV show: it means "God is my judge".

5. You might be thinking of the Reagan movie |
|
I don't recall the name, but it supposedly didn't treat his Alzheimer's with the requisite GOP kid gloves.
O'Hannibaugh's legions bitched and CBS pulled it.

8. "The Reagans", actually a miniseries rather than a movie |
|
if you ask me, it should've been a cartoon :spank:

9. Pulled because it wasn't "balanced". Yeah, it only showed the truth. |
|
Not republican lies.
I guess that's what balanced means: that the truth always has to share time with the republican lies.
And critics said it painted the Reagans in a bad light - again, all I can figure is that it must have been telling the truth. If it was made up, then it would show them in a good light.
