Just think, you are capable of moments like this or busting out some obscure song from some little known musician that is awesome. Then you go out and buy a Mr. Kennedy action figure. I am not sure if that makes you some kind of genius or some kind of clown. :)
I actually went to an ASUA President's cabinet meeting wearing a "Batista Is Unleashed" t-shirt and reading the Eddie Guerrero bio. There were actually people there wearing suits and ties. :)

30. Just to be difficult, I'd choose "Harvey" and "The Philadelphia Story" |
|
but then I've always been partial to Jimmy Stewart and Katherine Hepburn.
Your picks are flawless...."The Lion in Winter" is my all-time favorite movie of all time-I have no argument with you ... "Giant" is fabulous (I'm a huge Elizabeth Taylor fan) but I'd rank "Who's afraid of Virginia Wolfe" above it. Also, I'm nuts about anything with Audrey Hepburn or Grace Kelly.

35. Sex and the Single Girl |
|
Yeah, with a name like that it sounds like it would be a porn or something similar, but it's not; it's more of a romance with some screwball comedy added in for good measure. It's not exactly considered a classic, but I watched it enough while growing up that I wore out the videotape! It's got some big names in it, too, including Tony Curtis, Henry Fonda, Lauren Bacall, and Natalie Wood (and I can watch just about anything with her in it, just 'cause she's so purdy...).
Oh yeah, and I agree with the poster above who mentioned "The Lady Eve". That's another great romantic comedy from back in the day. It's funny, 'cause I don't really like movies of that genre that come out today, but I do like some of the old ones.

The original "Kiss of Death" is especially good because of Richard Widmark's amazing performance. And speaking of Widmark, he has two other great noirs:
Night and the City (also remade — but stick to the original) Pickup on South Street

|
...for me anyway.
Stage Door Before they were famous, Katherine Hephburn, Ginger Rogers, Lucille Ball, Ann Miller. It seemed Altmanesque.
The Private Lives of Elizabeth and Essex Bette Davis, who looked like she drank too much coffee. And Errol Flynn, who did a pretty good job. Astep away from his usual swashbuckler in tights roles. Though with tights.
