I walked out of The Wicker Man today
I haven't left a movie EVER. I've been tempted, but never actually did it.
Today I hit the wall. That thing was unwatchable.

Anyone else here try to suffer through it?

1. I heard the original is wonderful. I bought a copy on ebay.
I'm STILL waiting for it. I'm going to have to contact the seller.

I have no interest in seeing this one. I really don't like Nicholas Cage, anyway.

2. The original is excellent!!!
I haven't watched it in ages, but I remember being genuinely surprised by the ending.

When I heard they were setting the remake in the U.S. and making it "really weird" I lost all interest in seeing it.

Nicolas Cage is no Edward Woodward! ;)

3. going to the matinee tomorrow...
i adore the original, have seen it over and over. it's a cult hit in my house. but i fully expect to be disppointed by the re-make. strange, my 60 year old charismtic catholic mother loved the re-make and said the ending still scared her even tho she knew what was coming.

12. You have to let me know what you thought of it!!!
Without spoiling it for anyone else, I will tell you that I walked out when he was in the doctors house and saw the book and the jars.
It was too lame and I started laughing.

Hoping and praying that Hardy's Cowboys for Christ will rock & won't be too long in coming.

edit -- this is pretty funny, but it does contain a pretty big spoiler for the original film:
