I do NOT like whiny bitches
The kind who say in their whiny little voices, "Which part of the pizza are you having? I don't want onions, and I don't want green peppers, and I don't want this and I don't want that."

This is not a pizzeria. I am making a homemade pizza and we are using what's in the fridge. That's what home cooking is all about. Deal.

1. I hope you're not talking about your kids.
(if you have any) :scared:

In some ways, worse.

4. Who always think
That they have a legitimate gripe. What reasonable person on earth eats green pepper, after all?

6. I HIGHLY recommend you read the book "Mediated"
by Thomas de Zengotita. It will answer many of your questions.

8. Well, they can always take the stuff they don't like off the pizza;
it's not like the ingredients they don't favor are going to "pollute" it, after all.

But then, you're rational.

11. Except when it comes to shellfish (see post below). But I guess that
is kinda rational of me anyway, isn't it?

17. Sudden outbreaks of hives are one thing.
Sudden outbreaks of fussiness are another.

21. It's hard to tell the difference sometimes.
If I were a waiter, and didn't know anyone with severe allergies, I'd probably be really ticked off at some of the requests my mother has had to make in restaurants. And I certainly wouldn't enjoy telling the chef not to season the meat, or to make sure nothing in the salad has touched a carrot. Hell, in your typical restaurant kitchen, everything touches everything else at least twice before the orders are even taken. Mom gave up on restaurants a long time ago, and it probably saved her life.

5. Everytime I am around kids who are whiny...
I ask them if they think it's going to help them get someone's attention. I logically ask them questions they don't understand because it makes them shut the fuck up, usually. And luckily, everyone I know who has kids doesn't care if I tell their kids what to do, and they make them mind me, which I totally dig.

10. Uh, actually, I'm horribly allergic to shellfish, and it CAN'T touch
anything I eat or I'll have a reaction.

Happened in a restaurant when they brought me a salad with shrimp on it (I had ordered chicken)...I warned them very clearly that they had do make me a new salad (not just take the shrimp off and put chicken on) and told them exactly why that was.

Of course the cheap bastards did just that. They saved about 75 cents by not making me a new salad, and I ended up in the hospital.

13. Me, too. When I was a kid, we ate what was for dinner or didn't eat.
I did go to bed without dinner when liver was on the menu, though. I didn't mind.

I'd go without eating for a week if liver was all there was. Yuck.

15. That's the spirit
I do my best to put an agreeable meal on the table--no liver--but the principle holds.
