Movies, TV Shows and TV Specials of the past
that simply could not be made in the present, or would have to be altered/censored in some way, due to the "sensitivities" of the whackjob fundie/RW types.

I grew up watching classic Christmas specials every year. One was Santa Claus is Coming to Town; the one with the Burl Ives songs and the Kringles, etc. When Kris Kringle (yet to be called Santa Claus) makes one of his earliest visits to Sombertown he is giving out toys to the children. He sings a song to the children in which he tells them:

If you sit on my lap today, a kiss a toy is the price you'll pay...

OMG!!! Was he some sort of pedophile--giving out toys in exchange for lap sittings and kisses from children??? Lock him up and throw away the key! Won't somebody PLEASE think of the children???

What have you enjoyed that could never be made, or would have to be altered to appease the whackjobs?
