Three choices of dough: plain, half whole-wheat, and half cornmeal.
Adjuncts: Sun-dried tomato, dried cranberries, raisins, cinnamon, sesame seeds, onion.

My son had a great time playing with the dough, then adding all his own flavorings. His was a raisin and sesame seed bagel which he ate with cinnamon sugar. Very good. I think he's got the makings of a culinary genius :-)

I've baked my own challah before, with mixed results. Once it turned out great, once I got in a hurry and ended up with challah-shaped bricks that could have been used to pave the driveway ;-)
